Beauty was one of three daughters of a French merchant. Her sisters,
Felicie and Adelaide, were mean and treated Beauty as a servant.
One day, Beauty’s father got
lost in the forest, but found a strange castle, which he entered, looking for
help.
The owner of the castle was
a repulsive monster, half-man, half-beast, who threatened the merchant – either
one of his daughters replaced him as a prisoner in the castle or he would die.
Beauty offered to replace her father and went to live in the castle.
In the end, she discovered
the beast was not as hideous and inhuman as he seemed, but a handsome prince.
Finally they got married and live happily ever after.

There was once a
king and a queen, who had no children. At last, the queen gave birth to a
daughter. The King gave a big feast so that every one could give her a gift.
Seven fairies in the Kingdom were invited. An old fairy who was not invited
came. She was very angry.

everything was damp. He walked up the staircase opening every door. In one
room, he saw a large bed on which lay sleeping, the most beautiful girl the
prince had ever seen. He knelt down and immediately the ‘sleeping beauty’
opened her eyes and saw the Price. She became his Princess and they lived
happily ever after.

Two friends were

Once
upon a time, there was a tall, strong and handsomely young man, called Sit,
voluntarily enrolled in the army in China. He was sent to fight with the
enemies in the Southern province.
The
general in charge was Chiang. He was a cunning and sly man who would not
hesitate to exploit even his own soldiers. He knew Sit’s combat skill was
extremely good but purposely put him in a non-combative post as a cook. When it
came to battle, General Chiang would send Sit to engage the toughest enemies.
